The key difference between Shell Mould Casting and Sand Casting is the mould. In Shell Mould Casting, the mould is a thin walled shell created by applying sand raisin mixture around the pattern. The pattern is a metal piece in the shape of the part to be cast. The pattern is reused to form multiple Shell Moulds.<\/p>\n
